Whistleblower Channel

Iberpay makes available to its users the Whistleblower Channel, as a secure means of communication to report any irregular action or infringement contrary to legal regulations.

This channel is enabled for people who have a professional relationship with the company, such as directors, employees, interns, collaborators, suppliers and people working for or under their supervision, shareholders, former employees, job candidates.

Independence and autonomy, as well as rigorousness are the principles that govern the behavior of the channel, guaranteeing confidentiality in all communications, both for the reported and the whistleblower, as well as the possibility of reporting anonymously.

 

Information to be communicated through the channel

Examples of actions to be reported through this channel would be:

  • Infringements of European Union Law, provided they fall within the scope of Directives and Regulations relating to public procurement, services, financial products and markets and prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, environmental protection, public health, consumer protection, protection of privacy and personal data and security of networks and information systems, etc.
  • Discrimination of any kind based on age, gender, ethnicity, race, religious or philosophical beliefs, union or political affiliation and sexual orientation.
  • Any type of harassment, including workplace harassment or sexual or gender-based harassment, as well as actions that infringe on the labor rights of workers.
  • Any type of crime, whether fraud, serious and very serious criminal and administrative infractions, such as acts of corruption of any kind, such as bribery, swindling, embezzlement, influence peddling, money laundering, etc.
  • Disclosure or misuse of confidential information.
  • Illegal behavior in the performance of work.

 

This channel is not a means for complaints that are not included in the previous paragraph, and for this reason, communications that do not comply with the aforementioned may not be admitted or processed through this channel.
